In the exploratory study of patients with depression aged 18 to 35 years, the aim is to investigate whether the consumption of series with different emotional valence (sad, funny, action-packed) influences mood and depression symptoms. The participants are divided into three groups and watch series over a period of 10 days, while their mood and depression symptoms are recorded before and after the intervention and after each series episode. Additional data such as emotion regulation, socio-demographic information and media consumption will also be collected. The results could lead to important recommendations for improving the mood and quality of life of peole with depression.
