Real world evidence reveals improved survival outcomes

... in biliary tract cancer through molecular matched targeted treatment

Recent publication

A multicentre study compared the effectiveness of different treatment options for bile duct cancer in real-life data from 2015-2022. St. Pölten University Hospital was involved in the survey with Dr. Hossein Taghizadeh. It was shown that targeted therapies used as second-line therapy based on molecular genetic characteristics could increase survival. The effectiveness of the therapies was determined using the ESMO (European Society for Medical Oncology) scale. The publication is freely available in the journal "Scientific Reports".
