Preoperative therapy with corticosteroids is common for central nervous system lymphoma, but the effects of therapy have implications for subsequent treatment. Due to the lack of clear recommendations, Dr Florian Scheichel, senior physician at the Division of Neurosurgery at St. Pölten University Hospital, and colleagues conducted and evaluated a survey on treatment management in 74 European hospitals. Thanks to KL's open-access funding, the results were published freely available in the journal Brain and Spine.
