KL Lehrzertifikat

The KL Lehrzertifikat offers a comprehensive package for everyone who is interested in long-term career development in university didactics. Besides a basic and an elective module, the KL Lehrzertifkat includes course observations and feedback by colleagues. Thus, participants gain foundational didactic skills with the possibility for individual specialisation as well as valuable hands-on feedback on their teaching.

Basic module (3 ECTS)

The basic module (3 ECTS) includes the Startpaket Lehre an der KL as well as the following 6 specified courses from the Individuelles Kursprogramm Lehre (courses are held in German):

• Konzeption einer Lehrveranstaltung 
• Aktivierendes Lernen und Lehren
• Lehre in Präsenz und Digital
• Prüfungsbeiträge verfassen 
• Betreuung wissenschaftlicher Arbeiten – Basics 
• Erfolgreich präsentieren in der Hochschullehre 

Elective module (2,5 ECTS)

The courses for the elective module (2.5 ECTS) can be selected from the Individuelles Kursprogramm Lehre.

Peer observations (0,5 ECTS)

Peer observations (0.5 ECTS) provide a valuable external perspective on the own course. Participating lecturers visit each other's courses and provide feedback. A final session provides an opportunity for reflection and didactic exchange.
 

The Individuelles Kursprogramm Lehre is currently in development – this also affects the number of courses available for the elective module of the KL Lehrzertifikat. Further courses for the summer semester 2025 are already in the planning phase. You are welcome to send us your suggestions for desired course topics by e-mail to lehre@kl.ac.at.
