A scoping review about the portrayal of depression and anxiety in mainstream and social media

The Research Centre Transitional Psychiatry has looked at the portrayal of depression and anxiety in the social and mainstream media. For this review, scientists have screened and summarised the available literature. The portrayal of mental disorders in the media has an impact on awareness and stigmatisation. The work has been published open access in the International Journal of Psychology.
