Prevalence and biopsychosocial indicators of fatigue in cancer patients

Recent publication

Claudia Oppenauer from the Division of Clinical Psychology was involved in a study investigating the relationship between cancer-related fatigue and psychosocial and somatic indicators. To this end, 1787 outpatient cancer patients were surveyed on cancer-related fatigue, pain, anxiety and depression using various screening methods. Clinical parameters and socio-demographic data were also included in the analysis and the influence of individual factors on cancer-related fatigue was determined. The work has been published open access in the journal ‘Cancer Medicine’.
