Lump Sum Funding in Horizon Europe is a funding option to minimise billing and reporting errors. This involves funding a pre-determined lump sum for lines in a research project. The European Commission distinguishes between two types of lump sum funding: either the lump sum is already defined by the European Commission in the call or the description is provided by the applicant in the funding agreement.
