11 February is "Women and Girls in Science Day 2024". To mark this world day, the Campus_Network:Diversity* initiative is hosting a theatre evening on 19 February 2024 to honour three key women in the history of science.

In the play "Curie_Meitner_Lamarr_UNTEILBAR", the portraittheater is dedicated to these three outstanding pioneers who exemplify the achievements of women in the technical and scientific fields: Marie Curie (1867 - 1934), the Polish-born two-time Nobel Prize winner and discoverer of radioactivity, the Viennese nuclear physicist Lise Meitner (1878 - 1968) and the Vienna-born Hollywood actress Hedy Lamarr (1914 - 2000), who developed the frequency hopping process.

Under the direction of Sandra Schüddekopf , actress Anita Zieher slips into all three roles and brings the women to life on stage. Video clips featuring three girls provide a link to the present of women in science and technology. The successful play was produced in German and English and has been seen in numerous guest performances abroad, including in the USA, Australia, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine and many other countries. To mark the 10th anniversary of the production, portraittheater is showing this play again in Austria.

Following the event, the Campus_Network:Diversity* initiative invites you to exchange ideas over drinks in the foyer of Campus Hall.
